Welcome
I’m so glad you found your way here!
I imagine you’re feeling fed up with the over-thinking, worry, irritability, and tension.
You end your day exhausted and overwhelmed. Then when it comes time to sleep- your brain has other ideas. Literally!
We can work together to loosen the grip that stressful events, relationships, and feeling overwhelmed have on your life.
I can guide you in developing the strategies to relax, let go of your anxious thoughts, move forward, and feel confident to live your life in the way that you decide.

helping you thrive with
ADHD
Therapy can help you to:
understand yourself and your behavior, improve focus,
manage your time,
stay organized, and
improve your relationships with others.
If you are just finding out that you have an ADHD diagnosis, or think you may have it based on symptoms, you’re not alone. Even if you have been diagnosed since childhood, you may not have received effective tools to manage it. This is where we will collaborate, and work together on an ADHD toolbox.

helping you conquer anxiety
and live life with clarity and peace of mind
Anxiety doesn’t have to make your choices for you
Together, we will use CBT-based therapy tools to help you overcome anxious thoughts, and develop more helpful ways to respond to anxiety related behaviors.
You will be given strategies for:
Over-thinking
What if? thinking
Worrying about the past and future
Seeking excessive reassurance from others, or internet sources
Avoidance due to fear
Compulsive thoughts and rituals
Reducing the physical signs of anxiety, like panic, muscle tension, sleep disturbances
Reducing the use of un-healthy, ineffective coping mechanisms
Improving self confidence
Living life in the present moment
helping you navigate life stress
Life is adept at handing us lemons, and we are left with the choice of deciding what to do with them.
Therapy can strengthen your coping skills, improve your ability to set limits with others, and help you to communicate your needs effectively in relationships.
With these skills, life feels less overwhelming and you feel more confident in your ability to handle whatever crosses your path.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Management
As you may know, practicing mindfulness and meditation techniques can have positive effects on our ability to reduce stress, cope with pain and illness, and direct focus on the here and now- not the past or future.
You will be given strategies for:
Learning to let go of anxious thoughts
Turning off “doing” mode and activate “being” mode
Improving self care and self compassion
Relaxation Training
The mind and body are strongly connected, so when our muscles are tense and we’re clenching our jaws, it sends signals to the brain and we feel stressed.
Likewise, when our minds are filled with worry or overwhelmed with tasks, our bodies tense up, responding accordingly.
Together, we’ll practice:
Progressive Muscle Relaxation
Deep breathing
Soothing the senses
Guided Imagery
